Ok Help me decide.

I am torn between the Aqua Pod HQI and the Biocube. The Aqua pod has 150w of halide but it cost 340$. But i can get the biocude for a little under 300$ but i would suffer the loss of light but i have also heard that the filtration is better and the over all tank is a little bigger. So can someone with a lot of experiance with these 2 systems help me.

Re: Ok Help me decide.

Big question is: "What kind of corals do you intend to keep?"

Re: Ok Help me decide.

not really.

considering all the extras you gotta buy once you get an "all in 1" ayways.
'specially to keep SPS.

150W is good for the smaller ones, but not really the 30 or 29 or whatever

Re: Ok Help me decide.

Buying used in this hobby is not ghetto, with how expensive everything is its more like Money Managent...I love buying Used. Acutally, come to think of it the only thing thats new in my tank is the sand, heaters, powerheads, and fish. Oh, and the bulbs for the used light..haha

Re: Ok Help me decide.

Well I dont know about all of that, seeing as how I do not have a wife. And the girlfriend loves the hobby, so it would not matter to her if I bought everything new, as long as she got to name everything..
