20 gallon reef

Here is my 20 gallon reef, it has all the normal stuff- skimmer etc.
It is lit by a 175 10,000k halide and 2 65 watt 03 actinics. hope you like it.

Beautiful tank.
I don't consider myself in the tang police or anything, but is a tang really nec. in a 20g tank?

Good observation jks1, that twenty is WAY too small for the tang as it requires a MINIMUM of 48" of lateral swim room. Small damsels, Neon Gobies, and small Flasher Wrasses would be far better suited to a twenty. Th adult size of the tanf will be almost 1/3 of the tank lenght.

Hi, thanks for the nice replys. The tang is very small out of another tank. He is in there for a short time ,for some algae work.....LOL

I maintain calcium with a couple of different ways. I use Kent tech cb two part a and b system nightly. And I use kalwasser in the make up water at night, if im lazy I use kent liquid reactor in the make up water. I maitain levels between 420 - 450ppm of calcium.
