thanks for the link Nikki, I'll check it out. the snail really hasn't grown that much and I have yet to see any damage to any of my corals over the past months, so I think it's safe to say thet it's fine. just wondered if anyone else had an ID on it.

off to browse that link.

do it vin! you won't be sorry.

updated pics soon. right now I have a small patch of diatoms in the front left corner. All I have for flow in there is the AC mini so I may have to add a small PH, but we'll see. so far things are looking good. I still need to catch the other three sexy shrimp from my 7.5 to put in there, but they've been hiding since I took that one zoo rock out to put in the 2.5.

thanks for all the positive feedback everyone.

hey guys
dont know if its too late to post here being 3 months later
but i have a 2.5 nano going and at my school we breed fish
so when i heard that they were a good enough size to take care of i jumped on the chance and got 2 clarkii juveniles that was about 6 months ago and they are doin great
the only thing i hate about the 2.5's is the water top-off
i have a millenium 1000 and a custom overflow (built with the case from cd spindles) so that the sand doesnt get sucked up
the clarkiis were about 9-10 mm when i first got them
