Re: 24 gallon aquapod

You should be ok with LPS but I am not so sure about the BTA. Can you get the Sunpod with the MH lights? That would be my preference.

Hammer and frogspawn should be fine - I know my frogspawn out grew my nano cube under stock lighting.

Long tentacle plates are a tricky coral to keep long term

I'm not sure it just always seems it's one of those corals people don't have long term success with - I'll try to reasearch a bit from home I have very limited web access here at work

Re: 24 gallon aquapod

Sounds like a predator tank to me. I would go angel, clown, lion.
Maroon clowns can be super nasty when they grow up. Don't try to add a second after the fact or there will be bloodshed.

Re: 24 gallon aquapod

Clyde. You may want to use what comes with the Aquapod for start-up then change things as you go along. The Aquapod comes with a filter block that many hobbyists change out for LR. There are also several mods that can be made to make the 'pod better.

As for white LS and LR, do you have a LFS that you can shop and buy these things from? If you are an internet shopper then www.marinedepot.com or many of our sponsors can supply these things. Our sponsors are located at the bottom of the forums page, just click on any of the banners. BTW, Happy early Birthday!

Re: 24 gallon aquapod

I totally missed that this was for an Aquapod. That is way to many fish for that tank. The dwarf lion alone needs a mim 30g tank. I have seen maroon clowns at 6 inches in aquaria. You might get away with the maroon and the flame but that would be it for that tank other than CUC.
