How about no fish. Just some nice rock, corals, a few snails, a few hermits, and a colorful shrimp (maybe a fire shrimp). No muss or fuss.

i used to have so many crawdads when i was a kid.

are these things generally as pissed as crayfish? (i.e. nixing other tank inhabitents)

Same here. We had them all over the place. And yes now that you mention it this guy has the SAME temperament as a crawdad.

bugs are so tight. aquatic or terrestrial.

did you know that you can buy like fancy praying mantises?

tarantulas are cool. i used to have one and 2 black widows.

bugs are my life long facination nut rut. ah well.

I have a purple reef lobster too, I hardly ever see him even during feeding time.

If I drop a cocktail shrimp or something in there that's "Fresh" he comes up out from behind the rock looking for it. He doesn't eat everytime the fish do so I would imagine he gets pretty hungry between feedings.
