| Tubeworm | Re: Confused on starting a Nano They act reallly healthy but the darker smaller one has an owie by his gills. Not sure exactly what happened there, but I'm keeping an eye on it. It certainly does not seem to bother him a bit.

| Tubeworm | Re: Confused on starting a Nano The newbies seem to be doing great this morning! As soon as the light was on up to the top of the tank they went, looking for food! They're so darn cute. As for changing my avatar ... hmmm. Tempting, but my avatar wants to be a Navy Pinup Girl for Halloween. Hubby and I collect World War II pin up and propoganda pictures, we have a few framed for his office. Mostly Howard Chandler Christy. I dug my avatar up from some website and it was a blonde. So I changed it to match my hair and badda bing I had a halloween avatar, that might stay around for awhile.

Allen's home-made formula...(-NO3=WC%) This means if you change 50% of your total water volume (That's EVERYTHING) you'll get a net reduction of (NO3) somewhere around 50%. | Achilles Tang | Re: Confused on starting a Nano The one with the "boo-boo" is doing great. Swimming all over the place, eating voraciously, etc. etc. etc. (said in Siamese accent). The other one is still being very finicky about eating. It's also lying low in the rocks. Just kinda hanging out. It doesn't seem interested in swimming around at all. It's not belly-up, or resting on anything. It's just playing neutrally bouyant and swimming just enough to stay in one spot... Still not sure if I SHOULD be worried or not, but it would set my heart at ease to see it eat the way it did when I first put it in the tank.
