| Dancing Mandarins | Re: gettting 29 biocube Most LPS need at least moderate lighting, and you are not going to get much with PC's. If you had T5's I would say yes. You can have mushrooms and several zoas. You can have a very beautiful tank with just those two because them come in so many variations. Congratulations on the new tank. Ask lots of questions and you will get honest answers with plenty of support here at RS.

| www.kids-with-cameras.org ![]() | Re: gettting 29 biocube Thats a good size nano to start with. I would not add live sand but dry. Then the live rock (maybe 20lbs) If it comes with bio balls (it will) remove them. You can replace these with a micron bag filled with carbon. There is a nano forum here that has a few nice tanks with all the specs. Just click forum and go to nano reefs. I would start off with some easy corals first like mushrooms and such to get the hang of it. You might be able to do lps down the road. Temp and stability is going to be key to keeping them.
