Another Maxijet question for my AP 24

I am planning on replacing the stock pump on my Aquapod 24 with a maxijet. My question is whether I should replace the stock with a MJ 1200 or replace the stock with a MJ 900 and add a MJ 400 outside the back compartmented area to stimulate water flow? Any of you have experience with either of these methods?

I have seen several folks suggesting to replace the stock with a MJ 900 alone, but I was hoping to increase my rate of filtration rather than decreasing it, hence the MJ 1200 idea. I can also see the value of replacing the stock with a 900 and adding a 400 on the other side of the tank to help avoid dead spots in the flow. Ideas? Suggestions? Thanks in advance.

some corals dont like strong flows and adding an extra pump will make your water warmer. just replace it with with an mj900, remora or SA skimmer and call it a day.
