| Tunicate | Another Maxijet question for my AP 24 I am planning on replacing the stock pump on my Aquapod 24 with a maxijet. My question is whether I should replace the stock with a MJ 1200 or replace the stock with a MJ 900 and add a MJ 400 outside the back compartmented area to stimulate water flow? Any of you have experience with either of these methods? I have seen several folks suggesting to replace the stock with a MJ 900 alone, but I was hoping to increase my rate of filtration rather than decreasing it, hence the MJ 1200 idea. I can also see the value of replacing the stock with a 900 and adding a 400 on the other side of the tank to help avoid dead spots in the flow. Ideas? Suggestions? Thanks in advance.
