Been sometime...

since I have posted here. When the hot weather rolls around I don't get on the PC as much with weekend play and work I decided to get rid of my 20cube ric tank and get a long time desired octopus thinking it would be less maint. Didn't work out though as after much search and finally finding a dwarf octopus to have shipped to me it arrived DOA.
Well, I didn't want to try that again as shipping was almost twice the cost of the octopus.
OK, so what to do with the LR and LS I had kept. The 20 cube I really didn't want to start up again so I decided to remove the back filter chamber of the worthless 14gl Biocube, drill a 1" overflow to a fuge/sump with a drilled 1/2" return.
I bought a few clams, got some of my zoanthids and ricordias back I had stashed in a friends 240gl and here it is.
14gl modified Biocube with 70wt 14k MH. I still don't have a lot of time for it what with the birds, weekend hiking, work and building a pond with an 8' tall x 12' wide waterfall (just about finished and will post some pics in the next few weeks) for a friend and a planned week long backpacking trip in the Smoky Mnts. coming up.
But once a reefer, always a reefer. How many know my last name is Smoker? Truely is, all my life.
Doesn't sound right. Reefer Smoker. lol. No, I don't mess with it. I'm just kidding around.
