Re: My 29 Bio Cube build thread

so the layout of the T5s are as follows:
FRONT TO BACK (1-4)
#1-giesemann Actinic+
#2- korallen-zucht "Coral Light"
#3- korallen-zucht "Fiji Purple"
#4-giesemann Aquablue+

Its a nice look, but Im not too sure about it...Im gonna take a pic, NON EDITED, and then maybe switch the order around a little, to see what I can come up with.

Any combo/order suggestions, PLEASE, let me know

Re: My 29 Bio Cube build thread

Good job on quitting smoking, nasty habit. It is amazing how much you realize you were spending when you sit down and think abou it, that goes with alot of people's vices, alcohol, etc etc....

And yes..you should have gotten that frag, you should always grab that frag...that was a SIN!!!

Going home with extra money...what were you thinking...food is secondary to corals, remember that..

Re: My 29 Bio Cube build thread

Nice pictures man. I managed to get about 4 of those Green Zoas. I love them. They are very nice under the lights makes your eyes

I want some of those snowflake zoas.

I did my first shroom frag last night. The thing kept coming out of the rock that I was trying to put it in so I took a water bottle cut the bottom off and put some rubble in it with three new shroom frags and rubberbanded bridal net to it. I got the tip from one of you guys, not sure who but thanks!!!! Ill let everyone know on the progress.

How do you get such nice pictures. Ive not mastered my picture taking yet compared to these shots. Any tips?

Re: My 29 Bio Cube build thread

honestly Dan, my camera is outdated now too. I have always though had a natural eye for pics. Spend a lot of time up kind of near you, Boone, NC (particularly jonas ridge, nc) My grandmother has had a house up there since before I was born, and all the family goes up there every summer, she stays for 6 months. I take a lot of nature shots, and animals, skys (rainy/cloudy, sunsets) A member on here, dont see him much anymore, SCUBADREW: said my pics look very natural, like just so natural.

Those snowflakes are actually not zoanthids. They are Anthelia sp., a type of Clove polyp.

Re: My 29 Bio Cube build thread

Great pics as always, I've just found the manual focus and macro mode on my camara. Do you take most of your pics under actinics only or full light?

Re: My 29 Bio Cube build thread

They are better under daylights, because my camera SUCKS for manual features, I can get the white balance to adjust very much, looking at the tank with the naked eye with actinics is a complete 180 from what the picture looks like. every now and then i can get it right, like that ric, and my red zoas, but those are about it.

Re: My 29 Bio Cube build thread

I may do that some time. We had the kids most of the summer so days were very busy. We may make it over there one weekend. I will be sure to let you know if/when we do.
