I got a really cool multi-colored ricordia, no pictures yet, havent found him a home yet. Did get some really cool pics of my fungia and bubble shrooms eating....you can see all the way into this plates mouth....

Excuse the image quality, there is a thin layer of algae yet to be cleaned causing the "chlorine in the eyes" look.


and the bubble shrooms, they have a "skirt" that FLIES UP and closes over the top when food is sensed on their discs:

I am contemplating a fungia for the 55. I'm not telling my husband about it because I am in trouble for mentally stocking the tank.

if you are thinking about it...do get one....just wait and get a really bright orange one!!! like Scotts!!

I don't know, yours is pretty cool, too.
I am just waiting for that day, no less than 2 years from now, when my husband has to go to school or go play soldier and I make a few big orders from a few places...

Took an expensive trip to the LFS. Came back with 2 new t5 bulbs and a Koralia 1 for my 29. Everybody loves the new flow so far. I will have some pictures later. the 2 new t5s replaced the stock 460 nm actinic and 10k with Giesemann Actinic+ and Aquablue+

WOW, the blue snowflakes really love the new flow and the new light since moving them back from their PICO adventure.



I have so happy to have this colony back again. Started with ONE little polyp.
Update on the second (first found) mini colony, they started to go away due to llack of good lights (PC's) but now are back and getting numbers, these will have to be fragged and these I will be happy to sell to somebody. Even bluer than this larger colony.

and barb yes, thats my $10 duncan head. It is already beginning to grow new heads. at least 3 new ones just starting out.

I also noticed that my frogspawn (which once was a little frag, has finally split into 2 heads now. there are pics of it when I first got it, didnt even resemble a frogspawn, I noticed the double heads once the lights went off.
