Allen's home-made formula...(-NO3=WC%)
This means if you change 50% of your total water volume (That's EVERYTHING) you'll get a net reduction of (NO3) somewhere around 50%.

Ask me about how to increase your REEF budget without going without FOOD!!

Re: My 29 Bio Cube build thread

That one little polyp is soooo tiny, I dont even really want them anymore. Now EVERYBODY is starting to get them, I liked them when really nobody had them....you know what I mean? Oh well, Ordering my lights in less than a week, hopefully they will solve my "cupping" rics problem, and make everything's color really stand out.

Re: My 29 Bio Cube build thread

So I am in the round robin here on RS, and here is what I got from Kathywithbirds!!!

Round Robin Zoanthid frag:

free candycane frags:

NICE!!! I am getting kind of full now, adding some rock to the back right side(behind the Ric Roc) its gonna allow for me to have a new shelf back there...and then I will add a new layer of LR to the front side(where the yellow polyps are) and have more depth to the view...

Here is an actinic shot with all the frags and other stuff I got goin on!!!

Re: My 29 Bio Cube build thread

I am really worried about my ricordea, I didnt get pictures, but yesterday when I got home from work... they were all coned up, "cupping" as I was told...I have been adding Iodine and stront/moly. for a week and a half now. No visible changes. Im only hoping that the new lights will be the key to making them happy....we will see!

Re: My 29 Bio Cube build thread

It can take some time for them to acclimate. Not too many changes all at once, eh? Any improvement?

Re: My 29 Bio Cube build thread

You said you're adding Iodine and stront/moly are you testing for these supplements before adding? What are your other parameters. They may just need some time
