Re: My 29 Bio Cube build thread

More fragging....I am turning into a fragging fool! Here is what I did with the blue rics,Couldn't wait any longer, the small piece of rubble was stretching it and ripping the ric... Diagram #1(RED) Is a piece of rubble the bottom ric was still attached to, so If i cut, I would already have it on rubble and the other half will stay where it is....Diagram #2(Yellow) Is the actual cut line, I did it perfect, 2 halves of the mouth, right down the middle, now there are TWO! So what I will have available is ONE Blue Ric, or Green and Pink and slight Orange Rainbow Yuma, there are 2 frags, but I still want one of them. Any takers? nice blue rics...

Re: My 29 Bio Cube build thread

Where did you learn about the "frag+gravity" thing? I read about it a month or so ago and thought it was a GREAT idea. Apparently it tends to "motivate" the ric to frag itself and produces a fast healing frag. But you just got anxious and cut it Nothing wrong with that.

Did you glue the rock to the piece hanging down? Super glue?

Re: My 29 Bio Cube build thread

That's cool buddy. What I read was where (worked with rics and shrooms) you end up gluing an edge of the ric to a loose piece of rubble and let it "dangle" freely about an inch or so above the substrate. Over a period of a couple of weeks the ric will voluntarily split itself into two very healthy new critters.

Looks great! wish I was ready I'd be all over that one but alas I am quickly running out of real estate.

Re: My 29 Bio Cube build thread

Hey al, I was faced pushed against glass last night, and I saw something that caught my eye....its very small, and blue. I have come to the conclusion, that is a single polyp of the Blue Snowflakes. all by its self, if you look at my tank shot, its just to the right of the BIG Caribbean shroom on the right half, above the rics...too small to picture, I might be able to get a pic, but it is defanatley the blues!!!

Allen

PS If it does, let's frag it ASAP so that you have a part in My tank and one in yours
