Re: My 29 Bio Cube build thread

Fabulous work Daniel, your softies look awesome! Softies are the best bang for the buck in the world of corals IMO! Lower lighting requirements, more tolerant of water imbalnces, and all the colors of the rainbow woith tons of different shapes!

Re: My 29 Bio Cube build thread

Start with half the current photo period and gradually increase over a 2 - 3 week period in 15 minute increments. Mushrooms and polyps are motile and will move if needed over time.

Thanks! That will help me too! Does that mean only have the lights on for like 5 hours a day and increase 2 minutes everday? So by 16 weeks you are back to the regular photoperiod?

Start with 5 hours and increase by 10 - 15 minutes every day until you get to an 8 - 10 hour photo period.
