Well, I had this single orange ric on this ugly, boring, out of place rock, so I had an Idea, IM GONNA DO SOME SURGERY and experimentation. I got the bowl, blade, and super glue, and went to work.....

End result, 2 rics(hopefully they will recover A-OK!)

Daniel when did you frag the ric? If that last set is the end result WOW!

I love the yellows! I have a rock covered in them and just placed a piece of LR Rubble in the middle hoping some would spread to it so I can take some to my home tank.

that second set of pics is my ric rock, the bottom pic on the first set is the result, I just did them last night....I think the small one to the left has already slimed off of the glue...

Ah now I understand. I was thinking those were before and AFTER pics. I love that Ric-Rock! Once I get a couple of Zoa rocks started I want to start a Ric-Rock. SWEET!!

Well, bad news. The little frag half of the ric slimed off of the LR, BUT, I do still have it, its not missing yet. Gonna try the NET on the rock trick next. UPDATE, my Sun polyps are starting to open now, its right when I get home, they open-not all the way yet, but enough to feed each polyp. I have been feeding frozen cyclops everyday after work, I think they are getting trained. They seem to be healthy, and there is a very very small polyp on the bottom, so its got like 6 heads on it.

I did the "net" trick and it worked on 3 out of 4 rocks. One simply "Escaped" out of the netting. I don't know how because it was still in-tact when I noticed it gone. Maybe it "expired" and dissolved or something. I did this on mushrooms because I only have ONE ric and can't make myself "cut" it up yet.

With the ric, will the smaller piece grow a mouth? I've only fragged zoos so far. I was thinking with a shroom/ric you need to cut the mouth in half so each half has a piece of mouth to grow??

Thats what I had heard, but I missed on accident, the bigger one is almost a full disc shape again, the smaller one seems to be ok....I have some bad news to report, with some pictures, they will come soon.....

Bad news about the Blue snowflakes, go check out the thread on my signature to see what happend....something is eating them all up....well my sun polyps really started opening up...here they are for the first time!!! YAAAAY!

Thats all I got this time...just kinda bummed out because of the snowflakes....
