| Angel Girl's Daddy ![]() | Re: Found a good use for Bio-cube bio-balls... I would be careful the bird doesn't break off the nibs and get one stuck in his system. Plastic doesn't digest so well.

| Sunshine Reefer ![]() | Re: Found a good use for Bio-cube bio-balls... I too would be afraid of my bird swallowing a piece of plastic unless supervised while playing with them. Now the cat toy idea sounds great.

| Just Mike for short | Re: Found a good use for Bio-cube bio-balls... Birds are pretty good about not swallowing non-food items. Just about all bird toys are plastic in some way or other and have been given to tropicals from the dawn of time, well, maybe not that long, and rarely any problems. I said rarely just incase there has been an instance where a pet tropical has swallowed some, but I personally don't know any cases and I have had many different kinds of birds over the last 10 years and right now have a Pink moluccan, Umbrella too, Amazon, Gray and the angel in the pic. I have had many toos and quakers, cocketiels, lovebirds in the past and never had a problem. Birds are really quite intellegent. I would be more worried about a dog or cat swallowing than a bird and I think most bird owners would agree. |
