5.5? I wish. It's my 2.5.


it's the reef at Atlantis on Long Island.

Last time I was there the aquarium was ok. It's much better now and they are expanding again. The coolest thing with that reef is that they have put all these little zoos and shrooms along the front edge of the glass. small fish abound on the edge there.

They have a toadstool leather that must be 4-5 feet across and some fairly large clams too.

It's a 150w HQI 20kk halide, ecosystem 40 HO. It's become the JCT clam grow-out tank.

Here are the newst tenants:






It's an experiment in growing out tiny clams in quantity. Heavy dosing of phyto and calcium level maintenance, paired with frequent water changes. Seems to be working, but there is some residual nutrient build up. It is slowly balancing to the new additive regimen, which is why you see some slimeage there on the sand.
