| Tunicate | What Is It??? I bought some mushroom corals last weekend and discovered a little treat attached to the lower edge. The items in question are on the lower left hand corner of the live rock where the mushrooms are. They are red in color. It has a tublar structure its entire length. There are two of these. they act like a soft coral when they do a purge. Thanks from Houston, TX |

| Somewhere Beyond The Sea | Re: What Is It??? The little red tubular structure, actually looks like a tunicate or sea squirt to me. I have a couple in my tank that I was wondering what they were as well, and I think this is the path I was led down. Check out the info here: Tunicates or Sea Squirts: A Wet Link by Ronald L. Shimek, Ph.D. - Reefkeeping.com Hope this helps in identification.
