To much flow???

I just upgraded my powerhead from the stock BioCube rated at 243 gph (says 243 right on the powerhead even thought the spec sheet says 306gph) to the rio hyperflow 6hf (350gph)It looks now like I have 2 much current My poor clownfish just got settled in now he is surfing all over the tank Im thinking maybe I should switch back????

Yes if your fish are having trouble swimming then you have too much current in the tank. I would recommend that you either reduce the flow rate or alter it so that you ahve the same water movement but in a gentler fashion such as using a spraybar to diffuse the intensity of the current.

Thanks Michelle poor little clown looked like he was swimming the last leg of a triathalon... Point is moot atm as the pump is out pumping my flow to the back chamber Good thing I checked it when I did. When my skimmer comes I will see what I can work out Dont want to stress em again
