lighting help!!!

With a 20 gal regular size rectangluar glass tank, what size lighting should I get and what type? I also want moon lighting incorparated into the setup, along with some actinic.

Re: lighting help!!!

What do you want to keep in the tank? Base your lighting choices on that. Also, do you have or plan on a canopy for the tank? If so, retrofit kits are considerably cheaper than the pre-built fixtures.

Re: lighting help!!!

It is going to be a FOWLR for a little while until I get the hang of things I am just taking it slow. I would really like a moonlight though.

Re: lighting help!!!

Coralife sells some decent quality fixtures for a 20 gallon tank. I'd recommend their 2X65 watt fixtures, as that will allow you to keep some less demanding corals as you get to that point.
