| Do I look as lost as I am ![]() | Re: can a snail get sick from eating bristle worms? I guess the real question is why are you killing them? They are a VERY important part of your Clean Up Crew. Chances are if you have a LOT of them you have something "off" in your tank. Their population will rise and fall in direct proportion to their food supply.

It's ALL gotta go!! Nitrate (NO3) reduction is directly proportional to percentage of Water Change. Allen's home-made formula...currentNO3-((%WC*.01)currentNO3)=finalNO3 (thanks Luukosian) This means if you change 50% of your total water volume (That's EVERYTHING) you'll get a net reduction of (NO3) somewhere around 50%. Ask me about how to increase your REEF budget without going without FOOD!! | Neon dottyback | Re: can a snail get sick from eating bristle worms? bigal is right...but they creep me out. if you want to be rid of them...arrow crab. they are "good guys" though if you can get over their nastiness. I only despise 2 critters in this world, the other is the sea roach. |

| Tuxedo Urchin | Re: can a snail get sick from eating bristle worms? That just sounds nasty. I actually think the bristle worms are kinda cool-looking. And the only creatures I truly despise are flies and roaches. I hate flies courtesy of the remake of the movie The Fly with Jeff Goldblum. I really did not need to see up close and personal how a fly lived *puke* And I've hated roached ever since I woke up with one in my hair on a camping trip when I was little ![]()
