| Tridacna maxima | Cuttlefish Questions :D I am taking a class right now called Invertebrate Zoology and we learned about these recently, they fascinate me for some reason, just pure awesome. I was wondering if they were possible to get in the trade, and if so if anyone had any links. When im done with school I would like to set a tank back up revolving around one of these, so i figured I would get the research started early haha

| Razorback ![]() | Re: Cuttlefish Questions :D Fascinating animals - quite common as food in some areas of the world. The cuttle bone in all those bird cages come from them Once in awhile you see cuttlefish eggs available. I think this is your best bet. Like all cephalopods they have short life spans. Don't know of any available at the moment.

| Razorback ![]() | Re: Cuttlefish Questions :D FYI, this months Reef Life is focused on cephalopods. 4 or 5 articles; one on cuttlefish. I have read some articles online that cuttlefish eggs can be collected early spring to mid summer. May be off season now
