| Reef Lobster | Urchin carrying my zoa's away Well my blue tuxedo urchin it picking up my frags and either keeping them on his back, or the unlucky ones get placed upside down somewhere. I am getting rather frustrated with this, it is not the easiest to get ino the tank and it seems everytime I walk by he has 2-3 on his back. Now, getting rid of him would not be a good idea. I am currently battleing some algae breakouts, and he is doing an amazing job at keeping the tank clean. How do I secure my frags down? They are just on very light weight pieces of rubble. I know everyone is going to say superglue, but would I then have to take my rocks out and have that area dry to superglue them?? Also--he is not being very gentle with the zoas either. I have found two polyps that have landed in a great spot where they will not get touched, I just don't want more ruined!! So would securing them be more harmful?? It seems he may pull on them if hey are secured down, if you get what I mean. |

| Elegance coral | Re: Urchin carrying my zoa's away You can super glue in the tank, use the gel super glue. It will cure underwater. When the water hits it, it will geta hard coating over it, so when you place the rocks in just move them around a bit to break the coating and they will then stick after a few. |

| Reef Lobster | Re: Urchin carrying my zoa's away Speaking of carrying things around...check out what he has picked up yesterday! (Don't mind the huge GLOB of algae he's carrying around...he was helping me clean up shop!) ![]() ![]() Blurry...but gives you an idea of how high up he was. I actually ended up taking it off of him, he was pretty much dangling it above my xenia and didn't want it to fall on them! ![]() |

| Reef Lobster | Re: Urchin carrying my zoa's away Haahaha. What was odd, The night prior while heading to bed, I noticed it, and made Jeremy come look, hollering thinking he is going to drop it any second. Woke up the next morning...he was still carrying away! On the other side of the tank, he's a trooper. To him that thing must have weighed a ton! |
