sexy shrimp

i have a sexy shrimp in my 20 gallon w just a fire shrimp and want to move him into the 55 gallon bc i want a pair of ponys for my 20 gallon will he be bothered by my sally lightfoot?

I don't know about the crab issue, but I have a question for you. Do you ever see your sexy shrimp out in the open? I have a 55 gal w/ a lot of rock and I'm afraid if I get a pair of sexys I'll never see them.

thats actually y i was so hesitant of getting one....but hes out so much its ridiculous i dont think hes ever hiding and as soon as i put a little food in he comes running to the front of the tank....so to answer ur question i see mine 100% of the time

The sexy shrimp are tiny and would make an irresistably quick meal for many fish such as Wrasses, Hawkfish and even some Gobies, I would be very selective of the fish you choose.

Why couldn't you keep them with the ponies? I would think they are too large to become pony food.

i made a post b4 and asked if i could keep a pair of harlequins w the ponies and panmanmatt said that it wouldnt be a good idea bc shrimp are their natural food source and the sexy is like 1/4 the size of a harlequin

How about a pico tank with just the sexys. That could be lots of fun.
