| Serpent Star | Re: t5 clam? Before my toadstool took a crap on my tank my Crocea Grew FAST under my 36" 6 bulb T5 fixture... Stupid toadstool killed it though.. and everything else practically. According to a lot of people on here, it can't be done.

| Sunshine Reefer ![]() | Re: t5 clam? Personally I say no. If you are going to do it anyway, I would suggest as many T5s with individual reflectors as you can possibly get. Then get a rock clam such as a crocea and put it high in the tank as close to the lights as you can get it. All clams need a lot of light to survive and even more to thrive.

| Over Achiever | Re: t5 clam? I heard James Fatheree talk at MACNA last year and he said for Crocea and Maxima, MH only. However, I see that he is doing a talk on "The Latest Technology in Aquarium Lighting" at this years MACNA in Atlanta, perhaps he has some new information. |
