the discovery that explains alot

well ok so i wondered where did my true perc went to then i was like hey where did my false go...then i said hey where did my cardinal go...well i found out that i have two mantis shrimp and im not happy they are hosting in my button polyps any suggestions on how to get rid of them?

How big are these Mantis shrimp. It might be cool to have a shrimp that eats fish. Not in my main tank of course, but in a separate tank. I would be upset if either of my fish were eaten by something. Maybe you can yank the whole zoa rock out.

well i yanked the rock out i think that only one is a mantis shrimp and the rest are amphipods because when i yanked the rock out he was the last one to finally let go and drop into the bowl and the only one that doesn't run away from the peice of silverside like its a 1klb naked man running down the road yelling hug me!!!! heres a pic hesa kinda redish brown with white spots

i stomped on it then i called it nemo killer and bangaii killer and then called it a wuss and i was all like ooo who's the big bad mantis shrimp now fish killer....in all honesty a friend took it and is setting a dedicated tank up for it so don't worry hes not dead i trust my friend

There is no way that little guy killed any of your fish.
When he grows up maybe depending on what species of mantis he is but that lil guy is eating those giant pods!

I too agree that shrimp in no way could have killed a clown. If i were you i would be keeping an eye out for MOMMA MANTIS!
