| RS Nano Club UNLTD. | What about Lettuce Slugs???? I picked 2 of them up the other day. How are they, I have HEARD good things about them, not poisonous, good algae grazers... ![]() I got 2, about 2" each.....so whats up with them?

| Golden Moray | Re: What about Lettuce Slugs???? They feed on Bryopsis and Derbesia algae(both are types of hair algae). May feed on Caulerpa. They don't eat the algae but rather "suck the juice out". They only feed on the kinds of algae listed (as far as I know) and will starve unless they are available.

| Bryozoan | Re: What about Lettuce Slugs???? Bizarre creatures for sure! Very cool... I saved mine from the intake just minutes before being shredded....then ended up losing him to a heater accident a few days later. He crawled on when the heater was off and was in the middle of the hot spot when it clicked back on. Fried. Oops. So...if your heater is in tank...be careful. |
