| Reef Lobster | emerald crabs ok so this is weird, so like a week ago i had to sacrifice a emerald mithrix crab to the porceline gods...so now i was lookn' in my tank and who was sittn' next to my emerald crab...another one..just a little bit smaller...... now ive had the emeralds for 3weeks..my question is a)do crabs molt? b) how quick would they take to reproduce? c)do i just pray to the reef gods for having a miracle and creating another crab in my tank lol |

| Bryozoan | Re: emerald crabs most inverts molt lobsters, crabs, shrimp, etc. thats what you saw i have never had crabs reproduce, and you should not see two live emerald's right by each other because they fight i have a sure way of checking to see if a dead looking shrinp or crab is really a dead crab or just a shell take it out of the tank and smell it you will know right away if it is a dead animal |
