| Manta Ray | Re: inverts for a 24 gallon....... Unless you are feeding very heavy, you are overloaded on snails. Your size tank should have 8 total, 10 tops. Blue legs are notorious snail evictors (kill them and steal the shell), scarlet legs are IMO a better choice (4 total). The trick is add a small amount of cleaners and see how they do, then add more if you need them. Now to your question. And I'll answer it with one of my own. How is your algae growth, because Lettuce Nudis eat lots of it. If you have enough, then go for it, they are very interesting and beautiful animals.

| Scopas Tang | Re: inverts for a 24 gallon....... Actually, there is no such thing as a Lettuce Nudi, they are slugs, but it is a common mistake. Nudibranchs and slugs are two completely different animals that look kind of alike. They do not eat algae except bryopsis. They don't actually "eat" anything, but they suck the chloroplasts out of bryopsis. I raise the things. Here is an article I wrote a few years ago on them if you are interested. Take care. | Scopas Tang | Re: inverts for a 24 gallon....... Sorry to correct your post Framerguy. I really like lettuce nudi's... I mean slugs. You are correct though, the crabs would just love those snails, for dinner. Don't worry, I diden't write an article on snails |
