Dwarf Sea Hare ????

Ok I'm sort of confused (what's new right?) Honestly every day is like my first day here. I dig up old threads, ask crazy questions and just seem to act like a power head that's lost it's suction in the tank causing ALL kinds of chaos.

I am familiar with the "Sea Hare" (Sea Hare (Aplysia sp))that we've been talking about lately. But I have also found what's been called a Dwarf Sea Hare (Dolabrifera dolabrifera) but can't really find a whole lot about it. Does anyone have any information or better yet experience with it? Several local reefers here are talking about getting some and I'm just wondering why I can't find much information about the "Dwarf" one. If it's THAT good why aren't they more readily available?

Once again don't OVER estimate Me! I just found the "Real" name and goggled it right after I posted here. Earlier I was just looking for Dwarf Sea Hare.... I think I'll tell them to order some for our small tanks. The large ones really run through a 12g tank quick but there's no WAY to support him long term.

Just out of curiosity how LONG do you think a Dwarf Sea Hare can live "In-Transit"?

I have 3 being shipped and apparently the transportation company has "mis-placed" them and they wont make the 24hr delivery window. The KICKER is no one is here after 4:30 today to accept them (it's now 3:52pm on Friday) so they will remain "In-Transit" until some time on Monday. It gets fairly cold here right now at night but maybe they'll be in a heated warehouse over the weekend. Do yall think they'll survive?

Maybe I'll get lucky and the lady I spoke to with the carrier was mistaken and they will arrive shortly

I hope they show up soon. I really don't know how long they can survive. Hopefully they can make it through the weekend. Since the carrier lost the package is there any way they will do a Saturday delivery to make up for it?

Well that would normally be an option BUT (silence fills the reef at this point) I'm leaving straight from work going out of town for the weekend and wont be home till late Sunday night or early Monday morning. It's NOW or never I'm afraid.

Well here's the latest....

It left Miami Fl 5:38pm 12/6/2007 (headed to North Carolina over night)
as of today the site shows Wilmington - Clinton Field, OH 6:40am 12/8/2007. That's 48hrs and it's still two STATES away. I guess they aren't making it ...
