after some time i decided to try again, but it happened again. those shrimp are evil. i tried containing it in breathable container, so the shrimp would "smell" it. they usually get bored with things after it's been in there for a while, so i thought it would work. however they jumped on, and started poking at it again. shooing them away only worked a few times, but i couldn't keep an eye on my tank 24/7.
what's even grosser is that when i went to scoop it out a small amount of what looked like guts came out, and the shrimp grabbed it and pulled it behind a rock.
