Re: bumble bee/pistol

I know what he is talking about. They are related to the harlequin shrimps. They will eat the tube feet of urchins and some starfish, but this is not thier only source of nutrition. They will scavenge as well. I think that they would be fine togather, as the ppistol is a burrowing species, and the Bee is not.-Michael

Re: bumble bee/pistol

The bumblebee shrimps are very tiny probably the size of your pinky thumbnail. Very cool shrimps. Oh if you know what sexy shrimps are then they are the size of them maybe a little smaller.

Re: bumble bee/pistol

They are a tiny shrimp, and are not very common. I have only seen them a few times at the LFS. They are usually around $10

Re: bumble bee/pistol

Luclily all of mine "animals" "love" me. None of them attack me....Except my midas Chichlid. Every time the tank is cleaned I lose blood. Imagine a pretty pirahna if you will. At 11 inches he packs a punch.
