Re: Is my starfish hungry?

Karma to Bob for behaving himself.
ASH I know exactly how you feel. Every new discovery in the tank is exciting but also kind of scary. You just want to make sure everything is ok.
Sounds like your starfish has learned how to get fed. He just comes out when you are around and now he gets his dinner. They also feed on scraps of uneaten food and grab just about anything that floats by.
The challenge with feeding them is that if you don't they may get hungry and eat your fish (depending on the size of the star and the fish) but if you feed them well they get very large.
