SW Wanna Be.

Hey All,

I been doing some reading over the past few months, considering going saltwater, but not quite sure where to begin...reef, fish, fishy reef. Found this forum and have been reading alot here. Tons of info, and lots of great pics, glad I happened by. Hopefully in the near future, probably around tax time I may jump into things. This is when I will be talking more on the forum and looking for guidance. I have limited space, probably can't go any bigger than a 55gal. tank, but 30 is probably more realistic for me.

All Be Safe.

Mike.

i say this as my best advice to a beginner. do not,,,and i repeat,,,,,DO NOT look at my tank as an example....i have a well practised eye, decades of experience, and a trunkload of failures to allow me to force the issue and get away with things most cannot~

Welcome to Reef Santcuary Mike! You can do nice things with a 30 gallon! A reef tank is a bit more pricey than a fish only due to the light requirements and extra water param checks/adjustments. There are great deals to be found on used equipment too!
