| Tunicate  | first post my name is matt am on my third reef tank and the other half says the last 1st 39"x20"x20" filtered by canisters bit of a desaster 2nd 5'x2'x2' dsb sump halide lighting ran very well 3rd 8'x2.4'x2 sump 5'x19"x15" trickle tower 4x halide 150w lighting 2x8000ltr return pumps 4x tunze streams non controllable fish as from the first tank mainly angels tangs at the moment trying hard corals at the moment the angels are leaving them alone some softs all ok tried two types of brain corals one bi coloured angel pestered both had to put them in a frag tank im running all tanks have lots of living rock the latest has extra rock in the sump as well as the main tank all readings are coming up ok corals are showing signs of groath the latest tank has been running for about 2 months thanks matt |

A walk to vacation, A necessary sedation, You wanna feel at home cause' you belong. *Disclaimer* i say this as my best advice to a beginner. do not,,,and i repeat,,,,,DO NOT look at my tank as an example....i have a well practised eye, decades of experience, and a trunkload of failures to allow me to force the issue and get away with things most cannot~ Quote:

| Tunicate | Re: first post still got the first tank upstairs holding coral frags 1 yellow tang 1 midnight angel 1 cleaner wrasse in the kitchen a fun tank this is a bare bones tank small has given me the least trouble going about 2.5 years 1 maroon clown 2 brain corals 1 candy coral various mushrooms 1 small powerhead 1 small internal filter 2 gal water change twice a week fortunately the 5' has now gone might have found a use for it yours matt |
