Help :cleaner shrimp larva and fish larva

Hi Everybody, I am new here, 4 months ago ,my kids and I finally got brave enough to get our first salt water tank, we went small, and have a 29 gal nano tank,so far so good, is not as bad as I tough ,Its not harder then my Discus tanks at least.
We have : and a blue damsel and a white and black damsel,
and one clown fish
2 cleaner shrimp, a what it came on a "cleaner crew pack", [some green crabs, some red and some snails]also have a few soft coral frags .
I had 2 seahorses for almost 4 months, but one day one disapear, and 2 days later the other did too, [ there where there for breakfast, and gone by noon, we search the whole tank ] :-( maybe the crabs got them?
Till I figure out how they disapeared, I wont be getting anymore of them

I need help please: we are on the third attemp to save the shrimp larvae, we have been able to catch the adult shrimp, and put it in another bowl, they release the larva and we put it back in the main tank , I got them to live one week, with pytho and bb shrimp, but then they ALL die in a day or two after one week.
I just order a book about raising pepermint shrimp, it should arrive in the next 2 days, but these are cleaner shrimp, would it be the same for them?

also, yesterday, I collected about 10 larva from the tank, they were floating on top, a tiny bit larger size then the shrimp larva, they looked like fish babies, but more round ,but the tail was tucked in, and they would extend it to move forward or in jumpy circles, they had big black eyes and fat see thru bodies, any idea what kind are this? they only lived one day, they all died ,But I only have 3 fish and they are all diferent types, or the damsels dont care what type they are and can breed, anybody has pictures of damsel's larva?
thank you in advance for any help ,I have looked online for days and can't seem to get to the right place to find out what type of larva this is, or how to save the shrimp.

Glad I found you guys! :-)

[And please forgive my bad english,
I am still learning]

Re: Help :cleaner shrimp larva and fish larva

Raising shrimp is very very hard. Raising most fish is easier and that is still very difficult. The best thing that comes from shrimp fry is free nutritious fish food. Hth.

Welcome to RS!
When my shrimp lay eggs, my fish scream "dinner"
The seahorses disappearing is very odd. It would no suprise me if the damsels killed them, but to disappear entirely is decidely odd.

A reef tank is like a race car. The faster you go the harder you crash.
