Hello from Mexico

Hi all.
I'm from Mexico and my english is not very good, so feel free to correct me if I do not make my self clear.

I have a Red Sea Max and it has been running for a 2 of months.
The inhabitantys are:
1 Sailfin Blenny
1 Six Line Wrasse
2 Clown fish
5 Turbo snails
1 Banded Coral Shrimp.

It has 28 lbs of live rock and a 2" sand bed.

I'm planning to add some corals this weekend, but haven't decided the species yet.
Any suggestons on beginners corals?
The Red Sea Max have 2 x 55 watt T5 power compacts 10,000K/Actinic lighting.

Aditional personal info.
We just got confirmation on my wife's doctor... WE ARE HAVING A BABY!!!

Welcome to RS
Congrats on the baby and the tank.
Easier corals to start with are mushrooms and zoas. Most softies are good to start with but be aware that leathers practice chemical warfare and you need to run carbon to eliminate the toxins.

Re: Hello from Mexico

Hello and welcome! We're glad to have you onboard.

We'd love to see pics of your tank and hear all about your expeirence so far. I almost got a RSM at one point. I like the look of them and all of the "built in" features.

Again welcome and CONGRATS on the good baby-news. I'll be IN Mexico in November

Nitrate (NO3) reduction is directly proportional to percentage of Water Change.
Allen's home-made formula...(-NO3=WC%)
This means if you change 50% of your total water volume (That's EVERYTHING) you'll get a net reduction of (NO3) somewhere around 50%.

Ask me about how to increase your REEF budget without going without FOOD!!
