New to the forum

Hello i'm new to the forum and to the reef world. I had freshwater but decided to jump to the marine environment. I have a 50g with few inhabitants. I guess I'mlooking for some help as I go along since this hoby relies on trial and error ive been told.

We're glad you found your way here.

Congrats on the change over. We've most ALL been exactly where you are now so we understand how it can be.

Tell us more about your system.... filtration.... lights.... Sand/bare bottom, power heads... Live Rock....

And by all means if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

Take a little bit of time and go to Newbies, a little something on cycling/breaking in a new reef tank.

You'll want to read all you can about the "Nitrogen Cycle" and become intimately familiar with it. It's going to be HEAVILY involved in every aspect of this hobby. Learn it now or fight it from now on

Re: New to the forum Hello Welcome to RS __________________ 265 Gallon Reef built into basement wall. Lighting = 6x250 watts MH, 2x96 watt PC ,and 2x140 watt VHO for a total watt of 1,972 watts .
