New to the game, only one year Maintaining to the best of my ability a 60g tank.......bought alot.....lost alot......need help!

He was dubed by the LFS. Tricked into buying gravel instead of sand, was told that a NO florescent was sufficient to keep clams and corals etc... He has a pretty heavy schedule so his first post may be erratic but I promised him that this is the place to be for successful reefkeeping. Welcome Marcus to the "Sanctuary".
