5 fish seems like a lot for a 30.
Thoughts: How old is your tank? Can you give us parameters, including phosphates?

Re: new tank and having issues

I would have my parameters double checked by another set of test kits..... Just to make sure.....

i agree with Jack. your fish load is almost at its max, maybe one more smallish fish could go in a 30gal. but this stocking level would be for a mature system. at 3 months you should be just adding your second fish if eveything went smoothly along the way. 5 fish at this point is too many, JMO. do have you tests double checked at the LFS or other reefer with different kits.

Re: new tank and having issues

An Invert In Your Tank Must Have Died.does Your Tank Water Have A Foul Odor? If Snails Die The Water Will Get Cloudy And Sometimes Its Hard To Tell If They Are Dead....cucumbers Will Puke Out Their Insides When They Are Stressed(mucus) Causing The Water To Get Cloudy And If This Mucus Gets Into A Fishes Gills It Could Suffocate The Fish, feather Dusters Will Let Out A Milky Substance In The Water (feather Duster Sperm) Do You Have Any Of These Types Of Inverts In Your Tank....if So I Recommend You Find The Dead Invert And Remove It Right Away...or Your Ammonia Will Spike And Kill Everything....aloha Les@wph

Re: new tank and having issues

Welcome to RS.
I do have to agree with the others that you are going too fast particularly for an anemone. We generally say that the tank should be established for a year before adding one of these delicate animals. They have a very slow metabolism and the fact that is is alive now does not mean it is thriving and it could die later because of stress caused now.
I would strongly recomment removing the anemone and taking it back to the lfs or to someone with a more established system. You don't mention your lighting but anemones require very high lighting which most new hobbiests just don't have.
Back to the original question you really need to run every test possible and post the results here. Just saying they are fine does not tell us very much. There are different opinions on what is fine and what is not and we have no idea what you are or are not testing for.
Regardless of the cause etc I would strongly recommend running carbon and replacing it frequently. Carbon can remove many toxins from a system though not all by any means.

Re: new tank and having issues

The thing you want to be very cautious of is taking the advice of someone who is trying to sell you something. Often they are in it just for the money and will give advice that gets you to buy more livestock or things you don't need.
That is one of the great things about this forum. None of us get anything other than help and the satisfaction you get when you help someone. We encourage people to use our sponsors but will be very upfront about what we believe you should or should not have. Often there are varying opinions but you get those here as well and then you can decide what you want to go with armed with knowledge.
All of us are still learning and will be for many years if not forever.
