| Manta Ray | Re: new tank and having issues lynn is right there are so many was to deal with this or that. on the bioload we are also thinking of future issues. this issue could have been something dieing or too many fish or whatever. but if its ammonia or just a algae/bac bloom either way its effected by the bioload you got. if its just a blooming(which is normal at this point) and you see no issues with ammonia, with your bioload(at this point) algae may become dominate and never go away. now that its a sticky this saves me some typing, i am terrible at typing. but give this a read, hope you can see what i am talking about. Newbies, a little something on cycling/breaking in a new reef tank. read the whole post as many questions asked really help with the understanding.
