Wink 37 gallon question

I am currently in the planning stages of a 37 gallon reef set up. I need to first update the stand and canopy for asthetic and functionalityto a wood stand and canopy. This will upon completion be my first coral reef set up.
The corals and s are as follows Neon pineapple tree coral, devil's hand coral, purple passion tree coral,Red s,Blue s, green s,and fiji yellow leather coral. For protein skimming I was thinking a
prizm deluxe protein skimmer. For filteration I already have a fluval 404. The only tweak I would do is adding a surface skimming attachment and adding 35lbs of Fiji baserock. The circulation would be carried out by 1 maxi jet powerhead. Which brings me to the question of lighting would a single 24"Hamilton superpower vho retrofit kit suffice or should I go with 2.

Re: 37 gallon question

why are you using a canister on a reef?

you need more flow (20-40 X total water volume)

and those lights should be ok for leathers, but not if you want much else

Re: 37 gallon question

Because I already have one and it has served me well. Besides I am switching
from bio balls to filter floss and high quality carbon. Cost is another factor.
