Well, my family has always had an aquarium since I can remember and during boxing day at the LFS i purchased my own 15g and have it setup for FW. Currently in it I have some green tiger barbs.

I stumbled on this website when i was using google to find out what a nanacube was and found BigAl's chronicle. Boy after reading the first few pages, I just couldn't look away and read till I read it all at 2am.

Now, I really know what my next project will be once I graduate from uni this summer and get my own place. Till then lots of reading and learning to do about SW and reefs.

We also have a freshwater section so perhaps that can be of some help while you still have fresh.
Meanwhile the two most important rules in reefing are to go slow and research. Sounds like you are following both already.

good book to pick up is saltwater guide for dummies...excellent read and very informative.

Well so far in the planning stages, it looks like I would like to start with a JBJ 29g HQI or a Red Sea Max though leaning more towards the JBJ.

Next on the list will be a RO/DI system which would make for some fine drinking water as well. And ill check out chapters this weekend for books.

I was thinking about the RSM (red sea Max) and I ended up going with probably the best AIO (all in one) tank out there. The CADlight 39 gallon Signature series. It has everything you need to keep just about anything...it's about the same price as the RSM and is a bigger tank. Also you may want to consider a Finnex. I am in no way shape or form trying to tell you what to buy but allot of people don't even know about these companies. As far as books just start off with basic stuff...save the calfo and company books for when you have some knowledge under your belt..believe me everything will eventually make sense. Go it slow and I'm sure you'll do fine.
