New but not so new

I am new to this forum but not to reefs or many of there ins and outs.I believe firmly in research.As it says in my profile I have had saltwater tanks since before reef tanks became a reality.I have two tanks sitting here empty,a 65 and a 135.Later this spring I will more than likely start work on the 65 because it is already drilled for an overflow.I have to say say that I am somewhat of a purist and dont believe in the use of additives and gizzmo's.
