| Limpet | Gorilla Crab Intro Hey Folks. Just this weekend began establishing my first reef system. Bought a 24 gallon Nanocube and about $1000 and 2 days later I have saltwater organisms living in my midwest family room. Current Liverock with "crab-catcher" and stupid Damsel acting as bait in the glass (I think he's trying to commit suicide as he keeps swimming into the crab-catcher right in front of the giant Gorilla Crab cave) ![]() I bought mostly Pukani live rock and after adding Bacter boost for 2 days the water chemicals suggest I have completed the first cycle. I added a damsel today to help continue the cycle over the next 1-2 weeks. In the mean time I have found lots of critters living in my live rock. Mostly bad guys from what I am reading. I'll post about my hitchhikers in another thread. Anyway, cheers. This is a fantastic hobby. Jeff amc78cj7 - St. Louis Last edited by amc78cj7 : 01-21-2008 at 10:41 PM. |
