I found my Sanctuary ;)

Hello everyone!

I was really into the aquatic hobby about 9 years ago, then my job moved me to Philadelphia where I had no time to focus on a serious reef environment.

Well I moved back to the Pittsburgh area about 6 months ago and one of the first things I did was start my interests up again. I have all sorts of reptiles we care for, and I started my main love (This time it will be a 75 gallon reef tank) I have the tank built into a wall, the water quality is almost perfect, I have a few corals doing quite well, some green star polips, some zoo's, a hammer coral, a leather, a bunch of hermits and a few serpant stars... Its just begun, so I really look forward to learning more, and watching the tank grow over the next few months...

I look forward to hangin out here and getting to know you all, and get some education to refresh my 9 year absence from the hobby...

Welcome to RS!
GLad to hear you are back in the hobby.
Post some pics when you can. We can be very annoying asking for pics but we do so love them.

Hi, Jason! Welcome.. I look forward to seeing pictures of your tank.

I've belonged here just a few weeks, and I'm brand new to the hobby.. not even set up yet! I'm always happy to have new tank setups to look at. Enjoy yourself here the people are so nice, and so helpful.

Nitrate (NO3) reduction is directly proportional to percentage of Water Change.
Allen's home-made formula...(-NO3=WC%)
This means if you change 50% of your total water volume (That's EVERYTHING) you'll get a net reduction of (NO3) somewhere around 50%.

Ask me about how to increase your REEF budget without going without FOOD!!
