| Fire Coral | hello im new to this site and im looking foward to getting feed back from people on my tank. its my first coral reef tank and its hard to find people who know what they are talking about. and im sure the guy at the fish store by my house is tired of my calls! i have a 125 gallon tank 50 g sump with about 50 to 60 pounds of live rock 2 tangs a clown and two anenomes. and a cleaning crew due tomorrow. thanks alot. |

| Golden Moray | Re: new Welcome! I have to second Greg on the live rock. I can't over emphasize how important that 1 to 1 1/2 lbs per gallon rule of thumb is. Also, you didn't mention how long your tank had been set up or what type of anemones you have but keep a close eye on them. Most folks don't recommend adding them until your tank has been stable for at least 6 months. Many say a year unless it's a bubble tentacle anemone.
