I got here today. Someone on RC pointed me towards you guys.
I have had fish for almost 60 years and salt for about 38 years. I started my reef in 1972 and it is still running well.
I have bred many fish and contributed articles in three salt magazines. I am still learning and experiment a lot. My tank is an experiment and I do a lot of things that most people should not try. I know many of the members here and respect them even though we sometimes disagree (a little)
I am looking forward to hearing from some of you guys.
Anyway, thats about it.

VERY VERY NICE....thats a nice size Moorish Idol, how big was he when you first got him? i can see that bubble is huge too!

Actually that Idol was with me for about 5 years and I lost him to an accident with some of my other fish and most corals. That bubble was about ten. The Idol was about 2" when I gotr him and about 7" when I lost him.
The tank is a 100 gallon long tank.
I collected most of the rock in the Caribbean and Hawaii, the rest I built.

I tried to put a picture on Photobucket but I don't know how to get them from there to here

I should also say that I run a RUGF and a home made skimmer and lights.
The tank is fully automated and requires almost no maintenance.
I will figure out the picture thing soon.
