| Tunicate | hello hello,my name is mike i am from northeast ohio,i started my 75g "reef tank" approx. 3 years ago,i am one of those people who didnt research enough before i started, although i can honestly say i havent really had any deaths in my tank, besides i few hermit crabs and 1 sabae anemone, ive been pretty lucky,i started out by getting a tank that wasnt reef ready, big mistake,i used a magum 350 canister filter that im still using today,i had 260watt pc's for lighting, then iwent to 384 watt pc's which im still using, but im trying my luck now with the odyssea 760 watt system which i ordered today, probably not a good light system fromsome reviews but i have a friend who has it with no issues to this point,i will be going tomorrow to get a 90 or 100 gallon reef ready tank,it must be 48inches to do room restrictions,i probably have enough equipment in garage to start to more tanks,if i did it right first time i would of been better off,but no use crying about that, anyways thats a little about me. |

| Madame Klanganator | Re: hello Hi, Mike, and welcome! I live in NE Ohio, too, about twenty minutes from Cleveland. I'm at the research stage of setting up my tank. It will be a 65g shallow reef clam tank, with assorted appropriate fish... some SPS corals. I'm hoping to get the tank up and running in the next month or so. At least then I'll have some water to look at! I've learned a lot here, and the people are very, very nice and helpful. You'll have a good time, I'm sure, and learn things, too. Barb
