Hello all,

I am new here, thinking about getting back into fish again after almost 20 years! Back in the 80's I had 2 saltwater tanks 30 & 20 gal with bleached coral decorations, undergravel filters, and standard freshwater aquarium hoods with incandescent lights! I can't believe what I had lived as long as it did. Now I am thinking about setting up a nano reef, with a Bio Cube 29. I'm sure the technology has greatly improved! I think the new tank will be great fun for my kids to watch, and later to learn.

Welcome to the Sanctuary. Most of us have been there. You are right the technology has improved greatly and your chances of success are tremendous. It's a great learning vehicle for your kids as well as beautiful. Have fun!

Duke, My story sounds the same as yours! I was stunned at all the new technology. This is a great place to learn. I think it's so cool to get kids involved.
